[MLA] Christmas present for the music world

I checked and made sure I was logged in.
Corruption maybe. Other issues are depressed salary for service workers as
everyone assumes tips as part of wages.
Most importantly, there's discrimination. In music, that would manifest as
tyranny of popularity. Have you tried to listen to any of the most popular
music on Spotify? It's a humbling cultural experience. I hope artists would
not receive financial support in proportion to plays under this scheme
because that would fuel our race to the bottom.
I assume you're familiar with patreon (patreon.com). This is a system that
tries to support more marginal artists and tippers typically do get
something in return.
