Yes, that will be removed soon too. It is very confusing nerd info. When Tidal implemented loudness normalization, they looked at replaygain 2. Replaygain 2 uses -18 LUFS as a reference level, so 0 LU = -18 LUFS. On stationary Tidal uses -18 LUFS ("0") for playback, on mobile -14 LUFS ("+4"). 

> The Pre-amp can be set from 0dB to +12dB.  Playing with the settings with Loudness Normalization ON, indeed one can lower the level -4dB to “0" dB or increase it to +12 in which case the level of the Loudness Normalization ON is now louder than the original file! (and distorted).  

This will all be gone in the next update later this month. The goal is simplicity: just on (by default) or off.
