Nice. Norm-L would be a fun project for Apple engineers to sink their teeth
into. I've been shouting this solution to people whenever they start
bickering over what is the best target level. The best target level is the
one the listener chooses with his volume control. That's where we want to
get to and a floating point audio path removes the biggest engineering
hurdle to getting there.
