Dear Ian:
I can put a blank wordpress install on the site at any time you wish in
a "develop.music-loudness.com" subdomain and give anyone who wishes to
volunteer development the keys. Do you really have someone in mind who
would like to help us?
Also, there are some commercial programs (wordfence I believe is
commercial) that absolutely have to be bought in order to maintain
security. And the developer has to really know his/her way around
.htaccess! It can't be a casual "hacker" if you get my drift. I don't
have the time nor all the expertise to ensure the .htaccess file is good
so it has to be someone trustworthy.
I'd be willing to split the costs of any commercial plugins if you can
assure us that the developer is interested in devoting the development
time and a little bit of, say, monthly maintenance. You already know
what can happen when you let wordpress sit ungroomed for a while:
hackers and spammers :-(.
Best wishes,
Bob
