This is very encouraging news:
I had found a "Rite of Spring" album on Apple Music that clipped when using album normalization. It turned out that during some limited time there had been an error in the peak calculation algorithm and a couple of hundred albums had been affected by that when they were ingested. Please keep this confidential. But my presentation of last year should have mentioned this.
The really interesting part is this: Buddy just sent me the afinfo data of the recalculated album. And look: they now include 1770-style loudness!!! I am really becoming optimistic that my -14 LUFS album normalization recommendation will be adopted by Apple Music...
I wonder what "aa" means...
