<html><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html charset=utf-8"></head><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space;" class="">Greetings MLA group and Daniel,<div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">I hope you all are well.<br class=""><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">This question is way out of our wheel house, but throughout my career producers have asked me to do 1 second-long tracks on a CD.</div><div class="">I’ve told them it is impossible because it is out of the Redbook specification of 4 second minimum track length.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Then for the first time I saw a previously released, commercially manufactured CD that DID have many silent tracks in a row that were 1 second long!</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">After much investigating it might have been made at Masterdisk using the old “PQ Junior” Penguin software from Ralph Kessler and Daniel Weiss.</div><div class="">I don’t know how even <u class="">that</u> would have worked… yet, I’m looking at them counting up ever second as I write this!</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Thanks if anyone has any ideas how to create these 1 second tracks as I’m being asked to do what was done before again!</div><br class=""><div apple-content-edited="true" class="">
