Yes, I assume that you mean "contiguous tracks". That technique is
"not as good", but I would use the description "seriously faulty".
For example, with two songs from the same album placed randomly or
non-contiguously, track normalization of a producer's intentionally
soft song makes it sound very wrong and very loud.<br>

Does Spotify keep track of which is the loudest song in the album
even if it is not located within the current playlist? Does it use
the "normalize to the loudest track in the album" algorithm?<br>
