<p>Yes, the search function in Tidal has often been described as a
mess. I am unimpressed and it is its weakest link and probably an
impediment for normal (non-audiophiles) to subscribe to the
service. He who makes the most ergonomic interface wins!</p>

By the way, the " TIDAL-Masters" is an organizational mess!!
I used to be able to find my Wilco records by scrolling to the end of the "see "all masters" option "and find it with the other "W"s. After scrolling past the new albums they put at the top of the "all albums" display, the display starts showing albums in alphabetical order. For the past few weeks I can't scroll past the "L"s, thus I can no longer find my Wilco albums on the display.
If I "search" for a particular Wilco album like "The Whole Love" the results yield an album with SOME tracks MQA 96k and others 44k16!! It's very very poor!
I hope you can tell them about this!

Please keep this confidential but I have great news to share: My contact at Tidal has discussed my recommendation paper with his CTO and he received the green light to implement it! It is holiday time in Norway but he is trying to get the programming work done before everyone is away. There's still some time needed for the algorithm to perform its work and extensive double checks of course, but he said that they will probably be ready in August. Tidal likes to be first with this... :-)
So it's time to put the champaign in the fridge!
