Your point about restoring a backup to a hacked site is correct, Bob. Once the site has been hacked it’s too late and ends up costing us loads of time.

Robin may have his own ideas, although having said that I I’m very impressed with the free version of Wordfence - you get immediate notifications when someone logs in etc etc. So I just keep an eye out and try to stay up to date. So far, so good.
