[MLA] More good news (Spotify)

Hi Ian,

I understand your concern, but the nay sayers will just find another reason, once we’ve recommended album norm, different frequency weighting, different content weighting, different channel weighting, different gate level etc. Speaking of the latter, had BS.1770 been based only on verified results, the gate level would have been -8 LU, and the HF “problem” less.

Anyway, time is of the essence. Bob K and I just got a mail from another AES Berlin attendee who had spoken to Buddy Judge. Apple is presumably thinking about raising their target level because users say Spotify “sounds better”. Let’s hope reason prevails.
