The SSL4000G! It would actually be worthwhile to check if that CRT tone is indeed above threshold level in the masters...

If so, this means that the BS1770 lowcut frequency should be below 17 kHz... Florian, can you bring this into the ITU discussion? Or perhaps check some old masters first... Bob Ludwig, do you have access to those?
