Thomas, Eelco, Bib K.:
I heard that the cost for the Secret Service to allow Trump’s daughter to keep her kid in a NY School costs more than the budget for the National Endowment for the Arts that will be cut if his cruel un-compassionate budget passes.
Thomas, thanks for Jackson Browne tip:
Some of them were angry
At the way the earth was abused
By the men who learned how to forge her beauty into power
And they struggled to protect her from them
Only to be confused
By the magnitude of her fury in the final hour
And when the sand was gone and the time arrived
In the naked dawn only a few survived
And in attempts to understand a thing so simple and so huge
Believed that they were meant to live after the deluge
Let the music keep our spirits high
Let the buildings keep our children dry
Let creation reveal it's secrets by and by, by and by
When the light that's lost within us reaches the sky
Songwriters: JACKSON BROWNE

Bob L.

The problem of course is the Rebublicans feel he's their means to get all their agenda passed, so they don't want to rock the boat. But I hope enough sensible moderate Republicans will pull the stop before the shit really hits the fan. We shall see. It's only 3 months into it and it's the rockiest road I've ever ridden since 1973 when I sent a telegram to my senators to impeach Richard Nixon.

Cutting all the little stuff in place of a military budget that's going to be 10 times, 100 times bigger for military. Isn't this the beginning of the end of Rome? Isn't this how Rome fell?
