Yes, Democracy is flawed
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criticism_of_democracy>. Disaffected rural
America was played by Trump and us urban liberals have been living in a
bubble and can't be bothered to mail in our ballots. It is hard to tell how
much Trump is driving vs. riding this. It is clear to me that the threat
extends beyond the US. Europe seems particularly at risk if NATO and EU are
weakened further. Sorry to spread the gloom.
