[MLA] Normalizing on Tidal

Hi Eelco,

You might be right that a new round of remastering could happen. Part of the exercise is to find a reason for releasing a “new” product.

In the Nordic countries, Spotify has been ugly times two: It only return 10% of the revenue to artists iTunes does, and Spotify don’t care about audio quality. By taking most money out of music, Spotify could be actually speed up the re-re-master trend. At least Tidal users would appreciate it :-)

BTW, I’m promoting the NormL principle everywhere, but the ideal is of course to have access to a late gain control in a *system*, especially if interfacing from the streaming device is analog. Hopefully Apple has listened...
